My career is dedicated to helping my clients understand and possess their unique value and then helping them shine!

J. Lynn Trahan

Creative Designer & Branding Specialist

Choosing a career that brings us joy is one of the most important decisions we can make. After all, no matter how we pursue financial independence, we spend a significant portion of our lives doing it. I’m fortunate enough to say I love my work. This passion not only drives my ambition but also strengthens my commitment to my clients’ success.

Write Way Web Design was founded in 2015, after a tobacco pipe salesman approached me to build his website. He had initially planned to use GoDaddy but quickly learned that their strict policy prohibited advertising for products related to tobacco, alcohol, or firearms. That’s when I stepped in, and since then, I’ve been helping startups and small businesses tackle their online needs.

My interest in design started long before that. I experimented with website creation back in the days of “Classmates” blogs and worked in real estate advertising during the early 2000s. My love for writing, which I’ve had since I could read, naturally paired with my newfound interest in web design. At the time, I was new to Louisiana, having worked offshore for a bit, and was looking for a new challenge, something more fulfilling than bartending.

A Natural Curiosity: Questioning Everything

As a child, I held a deep curiosity about life. I asked endless questions and thought about things on a level most people didn’t. You know those precocious kids who ask, “But why?” repeatedly? Well, that was me. I became a bit of a philosopher by the age of 10, constantly puzzling over life’s big questions.

To this day, I still ask questions like, “How did people become different colors if we all started with Adam and Eve?” and “Are we all cousins since we began with just two people?” (Don’t worry—my mom’s given her fair share of eye rolls to me!) But those questions sparked my creativity and helped me develop a way of thinking that goes beyond the surface. It’s this mindset that allows me to see things from multiple perspectives, like reimagining a business logo to truly match its brand’s essence.

Empathy in My Work: Understanding What Makes You Unique

Empathy has always been a core part of who I am. I care deeply about understanding others, sometimes even more than the consequences of my actions. While that doesn’t always serve me well in life, it gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to my work. When I write a client’s bio or craft their brand message, I get to dive deep into their personality, uncovering the parts of them that others might not see. It’s why clients often tell me, “How did you know that about me? We only spoke for a few minutes!” It’s because I understand people, often better than they understand themselves. My job is to find what makes them stand out, and I’m passionate about bringing that to the forefront. That’s my purpose: to highlight what makes them unique.

Why Hire Me? The Extra Factor

I once had a potential client ask me, “Why should I hire you? What makes you different?” Without skipping a beat, I said, “Didn’t you get the memo? My eldest daughter says I’m ‘extra,’ and you contacted me because, in your words, my design is ‘dope.’ I’m extra and dope. This level of dedication doesn’t come with every business—it comes with me.”

At my core, I’m a visionary. I see potential in every person and every business I work with. It’s my job to shine a light on that potential, which is why I rebranded my logo to a lightbulb—“Briteway.” My business isn’t just about web design or writing; it’s about offering more. My clients deserve more. If I don’t have the expertise to fulfill all their needs, I’ll find someone I trust who does. Why do you go beyond what’s expected, you ask? Because, as my daughter would tell you, “My mom’s extra!” And it’s that extra commitment that sets me apart.

WWCA CORE VALUES PIC

Our Beliefs

What We Stand For

Since 2015, our core values have remained unwavering. Our dedication, drive, passion, and loyalty to our clients are unmatched. At Write Way Creative Agency, we firmly believe that helping our clients succeed is the greatest accomplishment we can achieve. We take pride in going above and beyond, always with the goal of ensuring your success.

As a company rooted in faith, we apply Biblical principles in everything we do. Colossians 3:23-24 guides us:
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”
This verse reminds us that our work is not just about serving clients—it’s about doing everything with the utmost integrity and dedication.

We operate with transparency, honesty, and a commitment to altruism—values that speak for themselves. But don’t just take our word for it—ask our clients.

At Write Way Creative Agency, we believe we were placed on this Earth to serve others, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are here to help you grow, succeed, and reach your highest potential.

What Our Clients Say

It’s my pleasure to strongly recommend J Lynn from Write Way. I am Mike Coulter, CEO of Old Pipes Rule. I have 35-plus years in big box retail upper management and have seen many professionals come and go. Lynn is one individual I have worked with who uniquely stands out. During our time together as she created my website I was immediately impressed with Lynn’s skills. It’s not just the technical skills that impress me, however, Lynn was a joy to work with because of her amazingly positive attitude and a trait that separates her from all the rest. That trait is Passion for what she does! From the building process to explaining to me in detail how to operate and how the marketing works on my site, her passion shone through in creating my company a state-of-the-art website.

I am absolutely confident that Lynn can tailor a website for your company. Not only does she bring skills and experience you’re looking for in a designer, but you will find her passion will become an asset to your company.
